On Tuesday May 13th at 3.30pm Southwest based author Ronnie Turner will be talking about and reading passages from her new book Small Fires, in which literary suspense meets folk horror in 2025’s most original, mesmerising modern gothic masterpiece. Described by MW Craven as ‘Like Stephen King on crack, the most accomplished book I’ve read this year,’ Small Fires is a contemporary gothic novel that examines possession, generational trauma, female rage, and the perilous bonds of family. Ronnie Turner is the author of the critically acclaimed So Pretty.
