We really enjoyed having our Hub buzzing on a Saturday morning, by hosting an amazingly creative Book Making workshop. It went really, well with all of those attending enjoying the opportunity to make and take away with them at least two beautiful books! Jenny Perry, who ran the session, had positive feedback and an enthusiasm for running more of her workshops in the future. One participant commented:

‘I was pleased to discover  some very useful tips I didn’t know about concertina books and I really appreciated the beautiful selection of materials you had provided with all the accessories.’

Jenny  will soon be offering a Calligraphy workshop in early February (suitable for beginners) so look out for this coming soon on our Events page.

Jenny is also planning  another Book Making course sometime in  the Spring with a focus on page stitching and other joining techniques. We are also hosting Craftivism workshops with ‘Significant Seams’ – the next one will take place on Tuesday 10th December.
