On Tuesday 6th May at 3.30pm award-winning local author Hugh Meller will be presenting his compelling and most recent book Devon Dead and Buried. Hugh will provide an audio-visual presentation featuring some of Devon’s 700 burial sites, all of which he visited over the 10 years he spent researching the book. Hugh will be sharing the stories from the 2,000 memorials and graves of the ‘notable and notorious’ people buried or commemorated in the county, including aristocrats and artists, paupers and politicians, merchants and missionaries, sailors and suicides.
